How I Lost my Embarassing Man Boobs

How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs

I first developed these unsightly breasts when I was a spotty, fat fifteen year old. They caused me enormous embarrassment when I had to attend school swimming lessons and I vowed never to take my shirt off in public again.

That was over 30 years ago and I’ve stuck to my vow right up until recent changes. I never took my shirt off, even on the hottest summer days, and I’ve tended to prefer skiing holidays rather than strip off for the beach holidays.

My excess chest flab has meant that I’ve had to miss out on many opportunities. I’ve tried all manner of diets and lots of exercise techniques but nothing has worked. It was an unfortunate skiiing accident in Val D’Isere that brought about a massive change in my life.

Luckily for me it wasn’t a particularly serious accident. I tore a ligament in my right knee which made it impossible for me to walk and so my skiing holiday was curtailed. I was so glad that I had some good winter sports insurance as I needed to be brought home straight away.

But while at the hospital I got chatting to one of the consultants who was an American. It turned out that he was really a plastic surgeon currently on secondment to the hospital where I was treated. It was him who told me that my condition is called Gynaecomastia and that it effects around 50% of men.

He suggested that I see a specialist in this condition when I returned to London. I was scheduled to go under the knife within a month.

Excess glandular tissue was removed from my man boobs during the procedure which lasted around 2 hours. I was required to stay in the private hospital, where treatment was carried out, overnight but was on my feet the following day, impatient to see the results of the plastic surgeons work.

The final difference is hard to believe. Those embarassing man boobs are now completely gone. My chest now looks surprisingly manly and I’m no longer embarrassed to take my shirt off. The results of the operation gave me a huge boost to my self confidence, so much so that I now have a hot new girlfriend and I’m planning an even hotter holiday in the sun.

I strongle recommend that, when travelling, you always make certain that you have some comprehensice travel insurance and if you have a pre-existing medical condition make certain that you get the right pre-existing medical insurance.
